FRESH START TATTOO REVISION PROGRAM.

WHAT WE ARE OFFERING
We understand that some tattoos are linked to traumatic events, to circumstances that we are no longer engaged in, or to damaging ideologies that we no longer hold.
Therefore we would like to offer our services free of charge to a limited number of people who are experiencing financial hardship and therefore cannot afford to cover or remove a tattoo that is currently having a significant negative impact on their life, their mental health, and/or the way they are perceived and treated by wider society.
Some tattoos will be better suited to be removed via laser treatment than to be covered with a new tattoo, and vice versa, so please keep that in mind.
We unfortunately will not be able to help everyone that applies, however please know that any information that you share during this process will always be kept entirely confidential and only ever seen by staff at Something Original Tattoo for the purposes of this initiative.
WHO THIS PROGRAM is INTENDED FOR
Some examples of cases that we would take on:
tattoos that serve as painful reminders of abuse for survivors of domestic and family violence
facial/neck/hand tattoos related to incarceration or gang activity which are now impacting your ability to find stable employment
tattoos on transgender folks which are causing dysphoria and/or impeding your gender affirmation journey
HOW TO APPLY
All expressions of interest must be submitted via our online application form.
Please remember that we would love to help everyone but will not be able to. As stated above, nothing you share with us during this process will ever be shared with anybody other than staff at Something Original Tattoo for the sole purpose of assessing cases and performing this service.
As per NSW State Law, we can only take on clients over the age of 18.
